Rees - James Robert "Jim" Peacefully at Nipissing Manor on Friday, October 23rd, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Jim was the devoted and loving husband of Lucy (nee Johnston) who predeceased him in 2000. Proud and loving father of Shelley Wood (Bill) of North Bay and Tim (Mary Jo), of Port Elgin. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tyler, Shani, Tessa, Spencer & Brittany, and his great grandchildren Jacob, Darwin, Haydon Kaleb, Athea and Easton. Predeceased by his siblings William & Gordon, Florence Penman & Doris Spivey. Born & raised in North Bay Jim was a well-respected shop teacher in Secondary Schools in New Liskeard and North Bay, retiring in 1988. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Monday October 26th at 11am. Cremation will follow with interment of ashes in Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to Canadian Diabetic Association or Charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences at www.martynfh.com
