We were very sorry to hear of "Uncle Dint's" passing from Bob Elliott Saturday Morning. Although I don't believe that we ever met, I have heard about Dinty all of my life, from my Father, Thomas J. and my Grandmother, Nell Crean de Guehery. All condolences from our branch of the family to yours.

Mrs.Elliott , Barry , Lynne & Families . Billie & I are so sorry to hear of your loss . There wasn't a kid in Temagami during Mr. Elliott's time there that didn't have their picture taken (and then given to them) by him and pretty much every boy of age was privileged by his guidance , leadership and mentor ship as Cub and Scout Leader. He guided a lot of us in the right direction . You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Dinty. He always had a smile and a kind word. I can honestly say Dinty and Shirley we the pinnacle of true love, I have never witnessed such a wonderful, kind, caring love. Very few people are lucky enough to find and keep this kind of love – these two had it in spades. I know their love will span the distance.

Shirley, Barry, Lynne & Family, Our deepest condolences. So many good memories of this special man. Our first family portrait was taken by Dinty and it holds many memories. It was wonderful having neighbors like Shirley & Dinty while they resided in Temagami. May you know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time. He will be remembered by many.

So sorry to hear of this great man passing. I have great memories of serving him and his wife at the restaurant. Very loving couple. I had not seen them in a few years but then when I went to visit my boyfriends Mother I seen him in his wife room holding her hand. We all could a learn a few things about everlasting love from this couple.

Our sincere condolences to Shirl and the family. Dinty was always a very pleasant and out-going gentleman. I have many fond memories of time spent at Dinty and Shirl’s home on Lakeshore Drive playing in the lake with my uncle’s family (Wib, Connie, Nora and Bob Elliott). Many years later as an adult I took my son back to North Bay to play in the same sand and water. Dinty and Shirl were always very eager to share their home with others. We have never forgotten that. Dirty was a very nice man. We will miss him.

My sincere condolences to The Family. Mr Elliott was a kind gentleman. I enjoyed our chance visits with Mr. and Mrs. Elliott in North Bay over the last 20 years or so. RIP Mr. Elliot, long time post master in Temagami and photographic chronicler of all Temagami Public School and community events. Mr. Elliott would take our photos when presented with a winning trophy and such for bird house building, speeches, track and field, hockey, the winter carnivals...It was always so nice to get a surprise 5x7 B&W photo in the mailbox from Mr. Elliott.
