John and Shelley - so sorry to have missed the funeral as I was at camp and didn't find out until it was too late. Thinking of you both as Your Mom was such an integral part of your family. But you had so many great years with her and those memories will be with you forever. I remember her patience with all of us when she and your dad hosted young people's all the time - that must have been a pretty painful way to spend all those Friday nights when you think of it! Loss of a parent is so difficult but may you find comfort iknowing that she will always be with you and be part of you. Love, Elaine

Lots of love to you, John and Shelley, at this time full of family togetherness, thanksgiving, and sadness. Your mom was a lovely lady, never without a smile whenever I saw her. I remember that my sister Estelle always called her "Patsy" and there was always lots of laughter when they were together. These gaps in our lives won't be filled until we're in heaven together!

You may not know me, but your mother was someone special in my past. My maiden name was Hurtubise. My mom and dad was John and Virginia. Pat Horner babysat me several times when my family lived in the Sudbury area. She also was part of my experience at the Berean Camps. So very sorry to hear of her passing, but know that she is in the arms of Jesus. My prayers are with you at this time. My God give you strength and peace.
