I went and visited brother Brian the end of April in Swastika. We chatted for hours about Marty and Carol and their sons, Joshua and Nathan and family and friends. We talked and reminisced about the past years in our lives. Brian gave me a few pictures and this one was very special. It is a photo of Dad and Mom with Brian's son, Beck. I also added a photo of me and Brian.

When I ventured out into the real world, I was 18. Dad Pascoe convinced Mom that letting me go would be the best lesson in life. If I remember right, I hung around with Marty and Carol for a couple years. They taught me so much about life. In 1980, I left Kirkland Lake and went to live with friends in Edson, Alberta for a year. Came back in March 1981 to be with Mom and Dad. In 2000, I left Ontario and moved to Parker, Arizona. I married Richard Hall.
In 2004, Richard and I came home to visit. This is a picture of my hubby sitting with Marty and Nathan at their home in Chaput. Richard said he was so amazed at hearing all the mining stories that Marty told him. It was a great visit!

My sincere condolences to Marty's family and friends. When my son was young, I was lucky enough to have Marty and Carol take care of him during the summer months and after school. I always knew he was in the best of hands. I have memories of Marty taking his two boys and mine out hiking in the bush. They had so many amazing adventures and my son loved every moment! I can see Marty in his chair reading a book or hear him telling a story with a smile. He was kind and caring, an amazing dad and a wonderful husband. He worked hard and was proud of his accomplishments. A friend to all! Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed by so many!

I’ve known Marty for a very long time. Such a wonderful person. He reminded me very much of his mother; Both great souls; People who worked hard and loved their families the same way. I’m thinking of you all and praying for a gentle healing journey.

My married name is Lyn Hall (nee Mathias). I was placed with the Pascoe family when I was 7. For 5 years I bounced from the reservation back every school time to the Pascoes. In 1972 I was permitted to stay until I was 18. The Pascoe Family was the most loving and caring family. I learned what a real family was supposed to be like. And I had the best brothers ever-Tom, Brian and Marty. They sure taught me alot. When Marty met Carol, I hung around with them constantly. They were the best role models. I was Carol's Maid of Honour! I was so proud and honoured. Me, Darlene, Debbie, Marty, June & John from England

My deepest condolences to the Pascoe family. I worked on surface with Marty for a short time in 2012. I was always glad to see him and would have a chat and a laugh. He was a true friend when I had very few at the mine. Rest In Peace Marty. Thanks for the chats and support you gave me.
