Obituary of Veronica Vera Clark
CLARK: Veronica
Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Veronica Vera (nee Horkovec) was the beloved wife of the late William James “Bill” Clark (wonderful, wise & handsome). She was 84 years old. Loving mother of authentic, gracious & artistic Jacqueline Clark of North Bay. Veronica was predeceased by her daughter, amiable & sweet, Tamara and by her awesome, brave, fish catching son, Delmer. She will be lovingly remembered by her adorable and greatly loved grandchildren, Spencer, Louis and Sam. Dearly loved sister of Lizette Shewfelt (John) and Michael Bolshetschenko (Patricia) and Sasha & Urie, in Russia. Veronica was the cherished aunt of Kay, Dorothy, Debbie, Leslie and Stephen, Boris, Jerry & Nicholas and Jessica & Greg, and pre-deceased by Alex and treasured friend of the impeccable Paula Brooks (Steve). She was also predeceased by her sister Lily Nosko. She was protectively cared for by Shelly Philion.
What gorgeous gardens Veronica had! She loved ice fishing, except for that time that the ice shack disintegrated while she was still in it! She treasured antiques, was a marvelous chef, had a great eye for design, and had some sweetie pets during her life, Fibi, Sasha, Monty, Frankie & Bosley….
Respecting Veronica’s wishes, a small service will be held by the graveside in the summer, to be announced later. Her ashes will be interred in the family plot at St. John’s Cemetery, on Saturday, September 4th at 10:00 am. If desired, donations to the North Bay & District Humane Society would be appreciated by her family. Arrangements entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home
