My beautiful Aunt Veronica - I have such fond memories of her taking care of me during my summers at Trout Lake. She was a wonderful cook and gardener, a classy lady who loved her family and her animals (especially cats). She taught me so much and was a good friend to me when I became an adult. Rest In Peace my dear aunt - I love you and will miss you lots.

Such good memories of Veronica. All the kids from Belarus loved her so much and she was so helpful. When our Katya's mom died while she was in Canada at age 14 Veronica wrapped her in her loving arms and they mourned her loss in Russian. So many good memories of Veronica. R.I.P.

Such a classy lady - who was also a constant source of love, warmth and inspiration throughout my childhood. I’ll never forget when Del and I were terrified after killing a pheasant with a .22 - she shrugged and started plucking away for dinner! She endured so much in her life, but always did so with grace.

I have lost a good friend. I do have a lot of good memories between Veronica's cottage on Trout Lake and our cottage on Lake Nipissing. A trip one year to the Kentucky Derby was especially memorable. Condolences to the family.

Our sincerest condolences for Veronica and her family. My wife and I were lucky enough to have known Veronica as part of Group 4C, which for many summers hosted children from Belarus for radiation relief from the Chernobyl disaster. Veronica was always willing to help translate letters and phone calls when the group needed help. Through her efforts and contacts the grsoup was able to provide medications for the children to bring home to their families. All of which were translated to Russian. A wonderful women with many passions and talents, we will miss your smile.
