Obituary of Perry Anthony Bakker

BAKKER: Perry Anthony

Passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday May 29^th, 2018, after a brief illness with ALS. Perry, was the beloved husband of Victoria “Vicky” (nee Hampel), he was 57 years old. Loving father of Tim Chessell (Jodi), Becky Chessell (James), Beau and Laura Bakker (Keith). He will be lovingly remembered by his 13 grandchildren. Dearly loved by his mother Mary (nee Ouwendyk) Bakker and predeceased by his father John and by his sister Barb. Dearly loved by his siblings Lucy Martino (Nick), Rick Bakker (Loraine), John Bakker (Joann) and Lea-anne Demeis (John). He will be sadly missed by his in-laws Harold & Sarah Hampel and by Vicky’s siblings & their families. Perry owned and operated Ables Locksmithing since 1996, retiring in April of this year. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, travelling and could be found at the trailer in Eau Claire during the summer months. The family would like to thank Paul for all the support he has provided over the past year.   Visitation for Perry will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday, June 2^nd at 11:00 am. Interment will be at a later date at the Arnstein Cemetery. If desired, donations to ALS Society of Canada will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy
