Ron and I were so sorry to hear of Delly's passing. We got to know him over the years as he was the next door neighbour to my father and stepmother, Jerry and Pete Scott. He and Kay were wonderful neighbours throughout the years but particularly after my stepmother passed several years ago. They both kept a close eye on dad (a huge understatement), which Delly continued after the loss of Kay. He was so interesting, funny and lovely. Our sincerest condolences on behalf of the entire Scott family.

To Joanne, Michael, Jeffrey and Maureen So sorry to hear about your dad. He was a "fixture" on the street- been there ever since I can remember! How fortunate to stay in his own home and still be driving, all with the support of his family. Just a quick story about how much my husband, Michael loved his neighbour Del. He was always spoken of with such love and respect. This is a man who would give a neighbour the shirt off his back. Michael grew up in a single parent home and there were lots of occasions when special requests to help with various house tasks came up. Del was always there. We used to love sitting in the Dorschners kitchen drinking tea or coffee and visiting with Del and Kay. I remember lots of laughs. RIP Del. I know you are up in heaven with Kay and at peace. We will miss you.

We were neighbours that lived on Kingsways. Our Dog Sandy use to go to Del and visit with them.
I remember talking to Del one day and I mention Sandy didn't like Steak, Del said she like steak just fine
but she didn't like the BQ sauce. I thought that was pretty funny that he would know this about our dog that we
had for 15 years.
Del was always a pleasure to chat with, he will be missed.
