Obituary of Mary Jane Andrews

ANDREWS (nee King): Mary Jane "Jean" Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, August 19th, 2014, she was in her 88th year. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Frederick John Andrews. Cherished mother of Don (Bev) of Kitchener, Jim (Diane) of South Porcupine, Chris of Exeter, New Hampshire and Beth Andrews (Debbie) of Chicago. Proud grandmother of Jennifer, Kelly, Kerri (Dan), Don Jr. (Ashley), Richard (Jessica) and by her 8 great grandchildren. Dearly loved sister of Inez Sweet and her husband Jim, Carol Cawker and her husband Art and by Jean Tollefson & family. Jean was predeceased by her parents Ernest and May King, and by her siblings Myrtle Miller, Evelyn Robertson, Viola Finnigan, Mable Manahan, Alvin, Don and Jack King. Jean was a Lifelong member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church, and her parents had been founding there. She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting and knitting, and her family will always treasure the crafts she had made. Visitation for Jean will be held in the Calvin Presbyterian Church on Saturday August 23rd from 1:00 PM until time for a Memorial Service in the Church at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at the North Bay Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 287 (South Porcupine) would be appreciated by her family.
