Born September 12, 1923 in Spanish, Ontario. Edith Dane Hampel passed away at Nipissing Manor on Monday December 7, 2015 at 92 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Albert Lewis Hampel. Loving mother of Keith and his wife Debbie, Reid and his wife Diane, Susan and her husband Peter Truchon, Tim and his wife Wendy , all of North Bay, Perry of Chatham, Joanne and her husband Bob Twa of Hopeville and Lori and her husband Brent Foisy of Palmerston. She will be lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday December 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Interment at the Forest Lawn Cemetery Friday December 11th at 10:30 am. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (Anita Avenue) on Saturday December 12th at 2 pm. If desired donations to the Alzheimers Society (cheques only) will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
