Obituary of Sharon Elizabeth Monahan

MONAHAN: Sharon Elizabeth Passed away at the Mattawa Hospital with her family by her side, on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013. Sharon (nee Naismith) was the beloved wife of Cam Ducharme, she was 60 years old. Loving mother of Trevor Monahan of North Bay, Clyde McIntee (Sirena) of Mississauga, Tasha Brownhill (Stephen) also of North Bay, and step-mother of Eric Ducharme (Kelly) of Ottawa and Cam Ducharme (Kim) of Pembroke. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Liam, Jonathan and Carter. Sharon will be sadly missed by her mother Alice Gore of Englehart and by her sisters Shirley Haeny of Switzerland, Sheila Rheault of Belle Valley, Susan Page of Bradford and Sandra Searl of Newmarket. Dearly missed by her mother in law Corinne Ducharme (Arnold Graham) of Peterborough. Sharon enjoyed a full life and will be remembered for always being supportive and modest. She was always willing to help others to complete a task, enjoying the fellowship never seeking credit. She was an active member of the Mattawa Blue Sky Stitchers. Sharon’s family will receive friends at the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Saturday, January 19th, on a time of fellowship from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Interment of ashes will be in the spring at the Pine Hill Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Daffodil Lodge (cheques only) would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
