Obituary of Victor Leslie Merriman

MERRIMAN – Victor L. (Vic)

April 24, 1927 – February 3, 2013

Loved husband and best friend of Fran (Brown), dear father of Kathy (husband Bill Adair) of Ottawa, Don (wife Christine Green) of North Bay, and cherished and proud grampa “Gampa” of Sophia Merriman. Vic retired in 1989 after 38 successful years with Boart Longyear. He then enjoyed 22 winters with his wife , buddies, pals and friends at Woodside Condos in Palm Bay, Florida. Predeceased by his parents Kate (Jacobs) and H.D. Merriman, and brothers Harry, Herb, Roy and Bernie. Survived by his sister in law Jo Merriman of London, Ontario and many loved nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday February 23, from 10:00am until time for a memorial service in the chapel at 11:00 am. Reception to follow.
