Obituary of Lionel Joseph Peters

PETERS –Lionel Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday October 12, 2015 while in his 92 year. Predeceased by both of his beloved wives Reta and Jeanne. The oldest child of the late James Albert Peters and Lumina Hebert, Lionel was predeceased by all of his siblings, Ronald, Ernest, Lillian and Anita. He will be fondly remembered by his step daughter Isabelle, his many nieces and nephews and his cousin Wilfred “Bud” Hebert and his wife Jean. Born in Monteith Lionel was a plumber by profession. He worked for many years for Smith & Nelson Contracting before joining the staff at CFB North Bay. He will be remembered as a dedicated member and Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday evening from 7 – 9 pm. Mass of Christina Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church, Airport Road at 11:00am Saturday October 17.
