Obituary of Verna Lottie Yarlasky

YARLASKY: Verna Lottie (Formerly of Callander, Ontario) Passed away peacefully at Eastholm with her family by her side, on Wednesday October 7th, 2015. Verna Dobbs, was the beloved wife of the late Walter Yarlasky (predeceased in 1997), in her 99th year. Loving mother of Betty Anne and her husband Emerson Gill of Grand Bend, John Yarlasky and his wife Heather of Callander, Paul Yarlasky and his wife Mary-Anne also of Callander and son-in-law Jim White of South River. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Mark Killens (Kim), Jennifer White, Ashley White (Dave), Jessica Woolings (Ryan), Andrew White, Kaitlyn Yarlasky (Jesse), Emily Yarlasky, Heidi Yarlasky, and by her great grandchildren Dion, Everett, Braeden, Zachary and Carys. Predeceased by her daughter Carol White (2012), her parents Ira and Lydia Dobbs, and by her sister Irene Howell. Verna was proud to have been a Hair Dresser for the Dionne Quintuplets. Walter and Verna operated a Tourist Resort in Callander for many years. Visitation will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday October 10th from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Private interment at Terrace Lawn Cemetery. A special thank you to Dr. Cowan, and all the staff at Eastholme for the wonderful care given to Mom.
