I am writing this because your husband, father, grandfather - was my wonderful teacher and principal at Ben R McMullin school in Sault Set Marie, On in grades 6, 7, and 8. I have often thought of him throughout the years with fond memories. He could be strict but cared about all his students and was very fair. He would always come by my desk every day when the weather was damp and lean down and ask me how I was feeling, he did this because I had asthma as did he. I never forgot that kindness. It was very sad, to leave and go to Highschool- missed his humour and thoughtfulness. It has been a few years since I last saw Mr. Bell, but my mom always kept me up to date on her visits with the Bell family.
