Obituary of Marguerite Adelaide Kelley

Peacefully at Cassellholme with her family by her side on Monday January 4, 2016 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late George Melville Kelley. Loving mother of Karen and her husband Chris Major of Bonfield. Lovingly remembered by her grandson Kelly Major (Tanya). She will also be missed by her great granddaughter Lily. Predeceased by her brothers Bill, Harry, Frank and Gordon, her nephews Bill and Douglas and her nieces Faye and Catherine. Fondly remembered by god-daughter Wendy Hamilton (Ed) of Sault St. Marie and by her nieces Bernice Bain of Toronto, Judy Mclaren of Rutherglen, Lynn Savard of Bonfield and Deborah Windsor also of Toronto. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 – 11 am. The memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11 am. Marguerite’s ashes will be interred with her husband in the spring at Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
