Duke, Lillian Florence (nee Burton)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, July 13, 2014. She was in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Ernest Duke. Loving mother of Patty Duke-Gibson of North Bay and Peter Duke (wife Lenora) of Burlington. Predeceased by her son in law Dave Gibson. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Alicia, Barry James "BJ", Jeff, Daryl (Olivia), and great-grandson Benjamin. Dearly loved sister of Robert Burton and his wife Shirley of Baysville and sister in law Fideles Burton of Huntsville, Texas. Predeceased by her brother Sidney Burton. Respecting Lillian's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Family will have a private graveside service at a later date. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetic Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
