HOLLIDAY – Nellie Janet
(1921 – 2014)
Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center, surrounded by her loving family, on May 1st, 2014 at the age of 92. Nellie was the beloved wife of the late Carlton Holliday. She was the dearly loved mother of Glendale (May), and Irvin (Sue), both of North Bay and Nancy (John Knight) of Slave Lake, Alberta. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Dale (Jacqueline) of Ucluelet, British Columbia, Kim (predeceased husband Ken) of North Bay, Eric (Dawn) of Slave Lake and Shannon (Marcel) of Grand Prairie, Albert, as well as Sean (Jaquelene) of Mississauga and Kendra (Chris) of Kitchener. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Nellie is also survived by three siblings, Dolly Johnson, Lizzie Orchard and Ron Moore all of Manitoba. Nellie’s family would like to thank the very special nurses in palliative care at the North Bay Regional Health Centre as well as Dr. Jinnah, and the CCAC for their care and compassion. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon, May 6th from 1:00pm until time for services in the chapel at 3:00pm. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
