Dear Doris and Family, Our love and prayers go out to you on the loss of Biff. He was such a joy to be with. We will miss him very much. How we enjoyed being with Biff at the Harbourside coffee hour on Wednesday mornings. Hearing his latest jokes and stories was such fun. In spite of failing health he was always upbeat. We send our sincere sympathy to Biff's family and the people of St. John's. We have wonderful memories of our time at St. John's and the work that Biff carried on. I shall never forget the Remembrance Sunday Services the he organized. He will be greatly missed. Biff was so well known far and wide. A friend of my late brother immediately remembered Biff and his athletic prowess as they both served in the RCAF in western Canada. Ruth and I are still in Sault Ste. Marie at St. John the Evangelist so will be unable to attend the service on Thursday much to our regret.

We are very sorry to hear of Uncle Biff's passing. Judy and I are presently enroute home after spending the winter in Vernon BC and will not be home until the weekend, at best. We therefore will be unable to attend Uncle Biff's funeral. Uncle Biff has always had a special place in our hearts. Our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy are with the family.
