Obituary of Eleanor Lela Rennick

At Nipissing Manor Nursing Home on Sunday December 13, 2015 while in her 91st year. Eleanor was the daughter of Carl and Ethel Rennick. She is survived by her brothers Blayne (Grace) of Kitchener and Bryan (Linda) of Vineland, Ontario. Predeceased by sisters Marguerite Ashford (late George), Elaine Steele (late Lloyd) and Maureen Hansman (late Lauren). She will be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews. Eleanor was well known for her 32 year career as Court Reporter and Administrator in North Bay. She previously worked for 12 years at Bell Canada. Her favourite involvement included activities, volunteerism and her enthusiastic support of Trinity United Church. She was at her best when knitting and doing needlepoint for family and friends or as a donation. Eleanor loved to travel and especially enjoyed her winters in Florida with family members. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Nipissing Manor and the nursing staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday December 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A special funeral service in Eleanor's honour will be held at Trinity United Church on Saturday December 19 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may wish to make a donation to Trinity United Church, 389 Ferguson Street, North Bay, Ontario, in Eleanor's Honour.
