BUCKNELL, Flora “Flo“ - Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Thursday, September 22, 2011. Flora (nee Holman) was the beloved wife of the late Albert James “Jim“ Bucknell, she was 87 years old. Loving mother of Grant “Davin” Bucknell , Jo-Ann Hawes (Gord Banks) and Tim all of North Bay. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Aric and Laura. Dearly loved sister of Mary Coates of Orillia. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents James and Aileen Holman and by her siblings Donald, Douglas and Dorothy. Flo was an active member of the community at Trinity United Church, working as Church Secretary. She was also very involved in North Bay as a member of the Rebecca's, the Golden Age, the Humane Society, the YMCA, to name but a few. Flo’s family will receive friends at Trinity United Church on Saturday October 1st from 12 noon until time for a memorial service in the sanctuary at 2:00pm. The Rebecca Lodge will honor Flo at 1:30 pm. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer's Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences at www.martynfh.com
