I'm so sorry for my late response and my deepest condolences to all of you. I was thinking of Audrey and family this week and found the obituary. Not sure if you remember me, but my name is Bob Buchanan. Youngest son of the late Gar & Ilene Buchanan, Edmonton, Alberta. My parents were very dear friends with Gord & Audrey for many years. Mom & Dad have both passed now (2012 & 2014) and I lost my wife Debbie February 23, 2019 of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. As stated prior, I'm so sorry for your loss, Audrey was a wonderful lady and I will always have many fond memories of her and your Dad.

A memory I have of Audrey that sticks out in my mind was her generosity and thoughtfulness around my baby shower for my first son, Theo in 2007. Audrey is my step-father Wally's mother and while we were not very close over the years since Wally came into my life as a teenager, given that we lived in different cities, Audrey made the trek all the way to Toronto to attend my baby shower and helped to arrange and contribute to a generous present of a new stroller and car seat. My husband Jake and I are saddened to hear of her passing, and will always have fond memories of the gentle and kind person that we knew Audrey to be.
