Chris's family sadly announces his unexpected death on Saturday December 24, 2016, at the age of 52 years. The beloved partner of Debbie Moss, Chris was the devoted father of Nicholas Babin, Justin Gravelle and step father of Travis Moss. He is also survived by his brothers Gilbert (Susan) of Ottawa and Richard (Jacinthe) of North Bay. He was predeceased by his mother Laurette and father Rene and sister Nicole. He'll be missed by is canine buddy Cody. A gifted and talented welder by trade Chris was the former owner of Deco Steel Welding and Pro Weld. A kind and caring man he was always willing to lend a hand to others, and tried to be the best person he could be. He loved his family deeply, always doing the best he could for them. Friends are invited to share their memories and stories with his family, at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon from 1 -4 pm with a time for a celebration of his life from 4 - 5 pm. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Chris's children's education fund would be appreciated.
