Obituary of David Dalton Gordon

On Tuesday, November 1st, 2016 Dave passed away in the arms of his wife after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 60 years old. Dave is survived by his beloved wife Karen (nee Hutchinson), his parents Dalton and Barbara Gordon (nee Fraser) and his loving children Shannon Keown (Brad) of Powassan, Kristy Subryan (David) of North Bay and Nick Gordon (Sarah) of Astorville. He was proud Poppa to Mackenzie, Joshua, and Hailey. He was cherished brother of Beth Grimstead (Mark), Brad Gordon (Debra) and Lynn Weaver (Russ), and treasured by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Dave proudly worked as a Power Lineman with Hydro One for 37 ½ years. Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home for Dave on Friday evening from 7-9:00 PM and on Saturday November 5th from 1:00 PM up until the commencement of the Memorial Service. The Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundations Complex Continuing Care Unit or the Chemo Clinic, or to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice (cheques only).
