Passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, August 26, 2016, he was in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Sheila Munroe. Cherished father of Robert Jr. Munroe, Sherry Munroe (Mark), Bryan Munroe (Caroline), Toni Nelles, Kerry Munroe (Jenn), Gilbert Jr. Shymanski and Kevin Shymanski. Proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his brother, sister and extended family. Bob is predeceased by his 3 siblings. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Cremation will take place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Mental Health Association would be gratefully acknowledged as expression of sympathy.
