Obituary of Michael John Walsh

It is with great sorrow that the Walsh family announces the passing of Michael after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday August 29, 2016 at 62 years of age. Dear husband of Nancy. Loving father of Shawn (Stacey) of North Bay, Kevin (Raquel) of Mexico and Sarah also of North Bay. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Cameron, Griffen, Hailey and by his best bud Max. Survived by his brothers Cyril (Hilda) and Pat (Jeannette), and sisters Frances Gibbins (Robert), Ag Boyce (Dan) and Noreen Gleason (Mark). Predeceased by his parents John and Gertrude and his sister Anne Marie. Also survived by his mother-in-law Marie Lecappelain (husband Alton predeceased), brothers-in-law Jim (Heather), Steve (Karen), Bruce (Carolyn) and Larry and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Senior, Dr. K. Shaw, nurses and staff on A3 at the North Bay Regional Health Center for the loving care Mike received. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-7 pm, with the memorial service to follow.
