Obituary of Jacqueline Ann Blight

BLIGHT: JACQUELINE ANN Jacqueline Ann Blight (nee Clark), 87, of North Bay Ontario, passed away surrounded by her family on August 19, 2016 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Jacqueline was born in London, Ontario to Kathleen Wynona Caldwell and Delmer Alfred Clark on March 21, 1929. Jacqueline is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Warner Blight; her two brothers, Bill and Bob Clark; and her niece, Tamara, and nephew, Delmer. Jacqueline is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Leslie Cooper (Greg), her son Stephen Blight (Lydia); and her grandchildren Robert, Ben, Christopher, Michael, and Daniel. She is missed by her nieces, Kay, Dorothy, Debbie, Jackie, and her sister in law Veronica, and will also be missed by her dear friend Paula Brooks. Jackie was born and raised in London, Ontario before moving to Toronto where she raised her family. They would spend weekends and holidays at their cottage on Trout Lake. Jackie loved to travel to visit family in such places as Kenya, New Zealand, South Africa and England. Jackie enjoyed a healthy lifestyle with her Living Fit friends; and will be lovingly remembered out walking her dog throughout the neighbourhood and meeting and socializing with her neighbours. The funeral will be held at St. Brice’s Anglican Church, Cassels St, North Bay, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 1 pm. Interment will take place following the funeral at St. John Cemetery, 100 Golf Club Road, North Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UNICEF Canada or other charity of your choice.
