Dad / Grandpa, A year ago today you made the biggest change in our lives by leaving us. We haven't forgot you and think about you all of the time. One day we will see you again and when that day comes we know that your arms will welcome us into our forever home with you. Until that day, please watch over us and protect us. We love and miss you.

Deepest sympathy to Marlene,Kevin and Michael. The memories go back to the 50's with our parents playing cards on Sat. nites.and the boys playing hockey on the pond or playing ball down the hill.Kevin,Michael and Paul playing hockey and Bob and Ted trying to coach them. We could write a book about " The Walton Boys". There are so many memories. Yes Bob, we will miss you, and Marlene, God Bless you and your family.

Marlene, I am saddened by the passing of my brother Bob and will keep you and Kevin & Michael in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do please let me know. As you know I lost Mary December 2015 so I can empathize with you on your loss Marlene and I can tell you that, over time, the pain you are feeling now will subside and through prayer and faith in Our Saviour, Jesus Christ, all will be healed and all is possible. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the memorial service since I have just recently moved to Idaho from Florida. My telephone number is: (208) 237-9556. Love, Stan.

Dad. You were my best friend. When you and mom told us that we were adopted ( around age 8) i remember thinking that i wanted to be the kind of dad that you are and the type of man that you are, hard working, strict but kind, loving and always putting you family first. You made me the man and father that i am today, modeled after you. Thank you for teaching me how to be a better person and how to be a better man. I love you dad, i miss you dad. I'm going to do my best with mom and my kids, just the way you taught me. Until we meet again. Your forever loving son. Kevin

Dear Marlene, Kevin and Mike, please accept my most sincere condolences. I'm sure Bob will find a way to start a brand new business in Heaven. Still remember the good times we spent at the cottage in Buckhorn. Take care, my thoughts are with you.

Dear Marlene, Kevin, Michael & Lisa and children & grandchildren: We were shocked and very saddened to hear about Bob's passing earlier this week. He was my baby brother and we spent many happy times with you and Bob, Marlene. I'll never forget the many hours spent fishing at Buckhorn (often skunked by the elusive big musky and pike) getting up before the crack of dawn, returning at 11 for breakfast and heading out again at 4 pm to test our luck once more. Many happy times at Christmas in Grimsby with you and your family, Marlene, listening to your dad and Bob's and mine partaking in their favorite pastime -- arguing strenuously (but friendly) over anything that caught their fancy while our moms cringed in the kitchen. I know you all will miss Bob greatly as will Pat and all of our family. We grieve your loss with you!

Aunt Marlene, Kevin and Michael, I am so sorry for your loss, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this hard time and in the months ahead as well. Uncle Bob was my godfather and I always remember him treating us as if we were his own, taking us fishing and boating and always stopping for an ice cream at the store by the beach or a treat from the store in buckhorn, he always spoiled us. He was always so kind to us and I will never forget the love that both he and Aunt Marlene always showed us. He will be missed by many and always remembered with much love. Xox

Aunt Marlene, I am so sorry for the loss of your life partner and best friend. I always looked to you both as a lesson in being true partners, to helping each other achieve your dreams. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. To my cousins Kevin and Michael, My heart is heavy knowing the loss you are feeling and will continue to feel in days to come. I wish I was able to be there to support you. I will remember my Uncle's kind eyes, generous heart and loud snoring, man that cottage in Peterborough could shake. Please don't ever dwell on the what if's, the happy times are what you will hold on to. Lots of love from Halifax. xo
