Obituary of Karam Dhami

Born In North Bay on March 29, 2002. It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce, that after a courageous hard fought battle with cancer, our brave sweet Karam passed away peacefully at the age of 13 on February 4, 2016 in Ottawa, ON surrounded by his loving family. Karam is the cherished son of Stephanie Harling and Ravan Dhami and the adored brother of Rohan Dhami. Beloved grandson of Valerie Harling, Edward Harling (deceased), George and Indra Dhami. Precious nephew of Sophie Dhami, Amman Dhami (Priya), Lisa Bennett (Greg), Wendy Harling-Degagne (Pat). Dearest cousin of Kylie, Graci, Rayna, Olivia and James. Karam is also survived by a long list of many loving relatives and friends. We, the family of Karam, would like to express our sincere gratitude for all of the incredible love and support we have received. We are very grateful to all of our family members, friends, co-workers, teachers, class-mates and most of all the care provided by the amazing staff at CHEO, Ronald McDonald House, Roger's House and NBRHC. We truly couldn't have managed without all of you! A celebration of Karam's life will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday February 13th from 4 to 8 pm.
