Obituary of Paul Wayne Pitman

PITMAN: Paul Wayne Peacefully after a battle with Cancer, on Monday, November 28th, 2016 Paul Pitman, was the beloved husband of the late Donna Joyce (nee Barry), he was 82 years old. Loving father of Darrell and Jerry both of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Christopher, Jessica, Eric and by his great grandchild Maison. Dearly loved brother of John Pitman of North Bay. P & G Auto Sales began back in the early 50's when Paul had an idea. Paul was hauling new cars from Windsor to the local Chrysler dealership in North Bay, which was owned by his father Jack Pitman, when he realized his dream of starting a wrecking yard. It wasn't long until Paul and his brother Gene decided to up-root themselves from Port Rowan, Ontario and move to North Bay where they opened P & G Auto Sales. Using the initials from their first names, they came up with the title of their Company. After 65 years serving the North and beyond, P & G Auto Sales is still a family run business. Paul’s family will receive friends in the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday, December 1st, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the St. Margaret Anglican Church in Rutherglen.
