Obituary of Maxime Roger Minor

MINOR: Maxime “Max” Passed away peacefully at the Mattawa Hospital on Sunday, January 17th, 2016. Joseph Maxime Roger Minor, was the beloved husband of Jean Audrey (nee Napper), he was 79 years old. Loving father of Robert Minor, Monique Minor-Caron (Gilbert) and Joanne Belanger (Guy Morin) all of Mattawa. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tanya Belanger (Logan Montreuil), Jocelyne Belanger (Dan Castonguay), Veronica Fielder (Justin) and by his great grandchildren Cedar Montreuil and Jaxon Fielder. Max will be sadly missed by his siblings Evelyn Belanger (Roger) , Amanda Viel (O’Neil), Neldo Minor (Georgette) all of Mattawa, Lionel Minor (Rollande) and Roger Minor (Aureanna) both of North Bay, June Nadeau (Reynald) of Montreal, Madeleine Nadeau (Normand) of Ottawa and will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Delina Minor and by his brothers Jerome and Albert. Visitation will be held at the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 22nd at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow the service with interment of ashes in the family plot at St. Anne’s Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Mattawa Hospital would be appreciated by Max’s family.
