Nancy was an integral part of the Adult Learning Centre. She was a very effective English teacher, encouraging her adult students to improve their writing and speaking skills. These students were entering the business world and she ensured that they were well prepared for any office environment. Nancy was also a "surrogate mother" for many of the students. They would share with her their fears, their concerns and their hopes. Nancy always had a kind word,a thoughtful piece of advice or an understanding nod. She was "there" for her students and they knew that they could count on her to be discrete. Gary and Kristen, my deepest sympathy is extended to you and all your family members.
