I wanted to share I'm thinking of the family and I know Bonnie's first anniversary of her passing is upon us. The first of every occasion is difficult and then we continue her special family traditions with those remaining in her memory. Gord I know how much you loved Bonnie, she is the apple of your eye and you lived and breathed to make her smile. Ben and Mandy, I know how much your wonderful Mom loved you both and how proud she is. She watches you daily as you are now amazing parents to your own little angels. Gord, when we worked together Bonnie was so gracious and such a lovely hostess when you welcomed your peers to your home. Her beautiful smile and warm heart was genuine. That's who Bonnie is, honest, caring, empathetic, smart, and always there to help. I was blessed to know Bonnie and sincerely thankful to have had her in my life. Warm hugs to all.

Dear Gord, Mandy, and Ben: I had the pleasure of meeting Bonnie only once, a long while ago - but she left a lasting impression. We were ice fishing with her old university pals. Bonnie had a wonderful, warm personality and a smile that lit up a room. She was a natural leader and a intelligent, savvy, sensitive and caring nurse. She worked hard to improved mental health services in Ontario and was successful in doing so. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you honour and pay tribute to such a beautiful person. I recall that she lovingly talked about how proud she was of her family and children and she was so looking forward to sharing her life with grandchildren. Dear Bonnie, I was so surprised to see your smiling face jump out at me from the Nugget tonight...a face I knew so well as we were "roomies" at Daffodill Lodge in the Fall of 2009..We had a lot of laughs as we supported each other in friendship as we were going through this journey. Gord, we welcomed you and Bonnie to Sudbury many years ago. You've always been such a charming and loving couple who cared for each other dearly.
