Obituary of Dehlia Millicent Finchen

FINCHEN, Dehlia Millicent - Dehlia passed away December 26, 2016 in her 98th year at Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa. She is survived by daughters Carolyn Cole (Wayne deceased), Lois Swayne (Dick) and son Richard Bernard (Helen). Predeceased by her husband Leo Finchen, parents Richard and Ethel Sweezey, brother Clifford Sweezey, sisters Dreana Leatherdale, Ruth Lomas and Georgia Herbert and grandchildren Darren and Jason Swayne. She will be remembered by her surviving grandchildren Connie, Wendy, Travis, Steven, Louise, Carey and Shannon. She had 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Dehlia was a Lady Shriner and volunteered for other charities and election polls. She enjoyed being around friends and neighbours. Thank you to everyone at Algonquin Nursing Home for your kind and genuine loving care you gave to our mother. Visitation on January 3, 2017 at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME from 10 am to 11 am with service to follow in Martyn Funeral Home Chapel and cremation to follow.
