Passed away peacefully at the Mattawa Hospital on Monday, August 24, 2015, he was in his 62nd year. Beloved friend of Louise Bertrand. Cherished father of Andy and Wayne. Gilles will be sadly missed by his siblings Therese-Lynn, Patricia, Kenneth, Rodney, Michel, Jean-Guy and predeceased by his brothers Gary and Daniel. Gilles enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and car and truck restoration. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN & SLOAN "Mattawa Chapel" on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm. Funeral service will take place at St. Anne's Church at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Burial at St. Anne's Cemetery following the service. If desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Research or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences at www.martynfh.com.
