Dear Rob, Lauren, Cox and Maltby Families Wow. It's unbelievable that I sit here and write this to you. I can't believe Cheryl is gone, and I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now. It seem like just yesterday we were playing yukre in the school lunch room, graduating high school (WFSS) and caring onto College (Canadore) and new careers? I'll hold on to those memories and so many others, knowing that they are the best memories of Cheryl. Please accept my most sincere condolences on the passing of Cheryl. She will be a shining light for all.

Cheryl was such and amazing person and coach. The kids were always excited about having their sessions with her. Even when they didn't always want to skate, Cheryl could get them to perform. We have been so fortunate to have had her as our coach for the last year. Right through to May of this year, she was skating with them almost daily! She was so full of life, always laughing and extremely generous with her time - we often had to be kicked off the ice by the zamboni! She took the time to put a collection of skating moves in a book for us to practice with - we will keep it and remember her as we go through them. She also just choreographed a routine that we will keep working on and hopefully will be performed this season. Cheryl, wherever you are, we hope you are surrounded by gardens and, of course, ice! We will all miss you

We knew Cheryl through the Hespeler Skating Club. There, she was always eager to coach and willing to accept anyone who wanted to learn as a student. She was Katarina's first coach and she coached her for five years. She was a patient and kind person, for that she will be remembered. We are all very sorry to hear that she is no longer with us. This has been shocking news to all of us. Please accept our condolences.

I am deeply saddened to read of the loss of your beautiful daughter, Cheryl. As a former neighbour to you, I remember when she arrived in this world. I have not seen you folks lately to know of Cheryl and her activities but as I read the notice from the paper she has had a full and active life. Please be assured of my caring thoughts for you and her family during this most difficult time.

We want to say how sorry and saddened we were to hear about Cheryl. We knew Cheryl from the Hespeler Skating Club, where she coached our daughter Elyssa and even partnered with her for dancing tests. Cheryl was so much fun and always smiling and friendly. She was an inspiration to all those around her and she shared her love of skating in both teaching and performing. We are grateful to have known her and for the positive influence she had on us and her skating students.

To: Mr and Mrs. Mel Cox, Rob and Lauren: My deepest sympathies to you on the loss of Cheryl. I am shocked and saddened by her sudden passing. Some of the happiest times in my life were spent with Cheryl and her parents during our figure skating days at the North Bay Figure Skating Club as well as our vacation together. Cheryl's good humour, honesty, integrity, and kindness will be greatly missed. I valued her friendship and loyalty and all the laughter. I know that Cheryl will be with you always, and the memories you created and shared together will help you through this most difficult and sad time. Cheryl was a gift to all of us, and especially to her family. May God Bless you. Godspeed Cheryl.
