There are no words to express our sadness of hearing this sad news of Harold's passing. Mireille and I love this man so much. He has so enriched our lives then and now we still feel the blessings of his wisdom. We will remember forever the memories of being in Harold’s presence (especially the Monday night Bible studies). Forever because we and his family will join him and our marvelous Savoir soon in eternity. To Molly and all the family our deepest condolences and love in Christ which is our hope and strength. My memories of Harold are all wonderful. I sat under his preaching from time to time, followed his leadership at ABK and considered him a man of God. He has left a legacy in his children and you are blessed.

I am very grateful for the influence "Uncle" Harold had on me while attending youth camp at Aush-Bik-Koong. His clear teaching, coupled with a gentle spirit, impacted me greatly. He is just one of spiritual heroes God used to prepare me for pastoral ministry. My memories of him are rich.

Long before I was ever a professor at Dallas Seminary, Harold Fiss was encouraging me to "preach/teach the Word." He believed in young men and getting them involved. His presence at Camp ABK meant that we were in for good discussions about important ideas concerning the Christian life and our Lord. He was always an encourager, always full of grace and truth.
