Yerkie, Lillian "Verdun" (nee Poidevin)
Passed away peacefully at Leisureworld on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, she was in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Yerkie. Cherished mother of Marilyn Garland and Susan Ellerton-Tanney (Bob predeceased) both of North Bay. Proud grandmother of James, Judy, Melanie, Jonathan and great-grandmother of Koral and Nathan. Verdun is predeceased by her parents and all of her siblings. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Monday, May 4th, 2015 from
1: p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will take place Forest Lawn Cemetery following the service. If desired, donations to Northern Cancer Research in memory of her son-in-law Bob Tanney who passed away in February will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
