Obituary of James Gerald Lefevre

Suddenly at home in his 87th year on Saturday April 25, 2015. He will be missed by his children David (Kalli) Lefevre of Osgoode, Ontario, Wendy Lefevre of Markham, Ontario and Sherri Lefevre of London, Ontario. Also missed by his grandchildren Zak and Noah Lefevre and Samantha and Hunter Leroux. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Evelyn Irene Lefevre. Lovingly remembered by his close friend Rose McGale and her family. Jerry worked for Ontario Hydro for 18 years before transferring to North Bay to work as an electrical inspector for the Ministry of Government Services. He was an avid skier and water skier and also enjoyed many endless summers at his camp on Lake Nosbonsing. In his later years he loved to play his euchre and bridge games. Jerry will be missed by his many friends and relatives. He was a giving and generous man who will be fondly remembered as ‘Pop’ by his grandchildren. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm. Friends will be invited to share memories of Jerry at 7:30 pm. A reception will follow at 8 pm. Jerry will be cremated and his ashes will be interred with his wife Evelyn at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
