Mackie, Mary Helene (nee Haskins)
It is with immeasurable sorrow that Lonna, Frank and Jack announce the passing of their beloved mother, Mary Helene Mackie on Monday, January 19th.

Survived by brother, Bill Curry (Anita) and sisters-in-law Jean Curry ( Carson deceased) all of North Bay and Jean Mackie ( William deceased) Campbell River, B.C.
Also predeceased by her step father Joseph Curry, sisters Marvel, Dora and Ethel, brothers Jim, Carson and Leonard Curry
Mary will be sadly missed by her cousin Joyce Scharfe and her many nieces and nephews, especially her devoted nieces Kathy Dudson (Eric) and Christine Jenkins (Jim).
Mary was a member of the St.Brice’s quilting group for many years and loved her friendships with the ladies who quilted alongside of her. Her love of genealogy led her to voluntarily work laboriously for over five years at the library each Wednesday copying the old hand written census for the area from microfiche to hard copy in preparation for it to be computerized. Mary was also an employee of Sears for many years. But the roles in her life that meant the most to her were that of devoted wife, loving Mom, Gram, and GG.
Memorial service at internment in the spring. All arrangements made through Martyn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice Fund would be greatly appreciated
