Obituary of Andre George Rivet

At home surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday December 24, 2014 at 58 years of age. Loving husband of Kim and father of Julia, Nicholas, Alexandra and James. Dear brother of Greg (Sandra), Anne Collins, Katie Laporte, Marc, Louise Rivet, Janet Chesser (Greg), Dennis, Joff (Sharon) and Paula Cross (Mark). Sadly missed by his father-in-law Peter Burns (Carolyn), mother-in-law Glenda Mikawa, sisters-in-law Lori Burns (John) and Tara Burns (Mark) and by his nephews Ben and Jake. Andre was dedicated to his wife, his children and his family and was honoured to be a physician to the people of North Bay for over 30 years. Special thanks to Dr. Mike Leckie and Brittany Peters for their wonderful care and support. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday December 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral Mass will be held at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Tuesday at 10 am. Cremation will follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Renal Unit at the North Bay Regional Health Centre or Kidsport North Bay would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
