We are very sorry that we cannot be in North Bay to remember George with those who loved him. We remember George with fondness. Gone from this world is one great man. He walked tall and held his head high. When we think of George Swan; we think of antiques, cars, paintings, sailing, flying, organ playing, weaving, singing, child evangelism, handing out tracts, and setting things right. We remember dipping one tea bag seven times for seven cups of tea. The list is diverse and longer than we can share...we remember how he did things a certain George way; like raking leaves into small piles "to conserve energy". I cannot rake leaves into hedge rows with out thinking that this is not the "George way!" Most of all we remember George for his unwavering faith in God and his desire to share that faith with others. Absent from the body and present with the LORD. Well done thou good and faithful servant! Much love, Michael and Rose Babineau Sarah, Ben, and Rachel Orillia

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Swan a couple of years ago. He was such a kind man. He spoke of his late wife June with so much love. You finally get to be with her again. My condolences to his family.
