Obituary of Gay Arlene Germano

GERMANO, Gay Arlene (nee Young) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife and beloved mother Gay Germano, on November 14, 2014 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was 55 years old. Gay was the beloved wife of Joe, and cherished mother of Stephen and Nicholas, all of North Bay. Gay was predeceased by a sister, Heather (Young) Bessette (Roger). She was also predeceased by her parents, Arthur Donald Young, and mother, Florence (Monson) Young. She is survived by a brother, Donald Young (Coral); and two sisters, Marlene Horner (Bob), and Jennifer Fahlgren (Bart). Will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Tonie Germano (Mimmo). Gay will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends, some of whom extend back to her kindergarten days. Gay was a devoted wife and mother and her family was her life. She worked in Ottawa and Toronto after college before returning to North Bay to marry her high school sweetheart. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Monday, November 17 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Christ Church on Tuesday, November 18 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
