It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Roger, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday October 15th, 2016. He was the cherished husband of Irene (nee Amyot), for over 34 years. Loving father of Carole (Anne), Gilles (Natasha), Nicole (Gilles), Roger Jr. (Debbie), Denise (late Tim), and Melanie. He will be missed by his grandchildren Maxime, Patrick, Isabelle, Julie, Sofia, Vincent, Marco & Matteo; and great-grandchildren Béatrice & Louis-Philippe. Roger is survived by his siblings Victor (Georgette), Evariste (late Louise), Celine (Eves), Helene (Guy), Fernand (Jeannine), and sister-in-law Gisele Roy. Predeceased by Roland, Anita, Lucille, and Marius. Family and friends may call at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Friday, October 21st from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent-de-Paul on Saturday, October 22nd at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow at Forest Lawn Crematorium, with a private internment at a later date. A donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences may be left at www.martynfh.com
