Obituary of Robert Croskery Weegar

WEEGAR, Dr. Robert Croskery 1923-2014 It is with heavy hearts, the family of Robert Weegar announce his passing, on August 5th. Predeceased by his beloved wife Phyllis, Bob will be lovingly remembered by his children Karen Rivet (Gerry), Carl (Cathy), Laurie Stevens (Jack), Tim, Scott (Cheryl). Grandchildren Scott and Craig Rivet, Kelly and Brian Weegar, Sandi Swanson, Kristin Rinn, Ashley Weegar, and Emily and Mackenzie Weegar, and ten special great grandchildren. We will miss you Dad! Your love for life, and your positive attitude over the last five years, will remain an inspiration for all of us. Bob practiced dentistry in North Bay for 37 yrs, and worked tirelessly for the North Bay Golf and Country Club and the North Bay Rotary Club. He dearly loved his family, the home he and Phyllis built on Glenwood Road, their cottage on Trout Lake, sports and Oasis. There will be no visitation; no funeral. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Bay Rotary Club would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Dr. Mike Leckie for his care and compassion; the wonderful staff at Empire Living, especially Mary, and a very special friend, Jim McAllister whose weekly visits Dad looked forward to.
