Obituary of Muriel Eileen Mihalech

Mihalech: Muriel Eileen (nee Smith) March 23,1937- June 1, 2014 Passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, at Cassellhome, North Bay, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence (Moe) in 2001; she was the loving Mom to John (Linda) Denmark, Shari Hyatt (Rob) Callander and Kori (JoAnn) North Bay. Loving Grandma to Steven and Camilla of Denmark, Nana to Sierra and Kameron of North Bay and Chantelle and Nicole LaFontane of North Bay. She was a very special Nana to Keely Hyatt. Remembered by her Sisters and Brothers; Don (Barb), Grand Falls/Windsor NL; Bonnie (Charlie) Beaverton, ON; Allister (Peg), Bishops Falls NL; Bruce, Tweed, ON; Pat, Barrie, ON; Paulette (Wood), Churchill Falls, NL; Corrine-deceased (Dave), Pickering, ON. Will also be missed by Mother in Law (Mom), Margaret; Sisters in law, Gerry (Roy); Kathy (Dave) and Auntie Leona, all of Nanaimo, BC; as well as Uncle Rip and Auntie Flo of Victoria, BC. Many nieces, nephews and cousins from Newfoundland, Ontario and British Columbia, and many friends from across Canada will cherish Mom’s memory. Many thanks to the staff at Cassellholme (3rd floor Willow) for the care and support to Mom and our Family over the past 2-½ years. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Mom’s life will take place this Saturday June 7, 2014 from 12:00-3:00pm at Martyn Funeral Home 464 Wyld Street, North Bay.
