Obituary of Yvon Joseph Foisy

Foisy, Yvon Joseph Peacefully passed away in his home with his family by his side on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of the late Deborah Foisy (nee Barrand). Cherished father of Jason Foisy (Elizabeth) and Ian Foisy. Proud grandfather of Matthew, Amaya and Connor Foisy. Sadly missed by his siblings Yollande, Roger, Roméo and predeceased by Rolland, Laurette, Oscar, Yvette, Elaine, Rudolphe, Jacqueline and Jeanne D’Arc. Yvon was very active in the community; his main focus was children’s sport and activities. He was also member of council for almost 20 years. Family will receive friends at the Parish Hall on Tuesday, February 25th, 2014 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Bernadette’s Church on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will take place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
