Obituary of Gilbert Hugh Bainbridge

BAINBRIDGE: Gilbert Hugh Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 2nd, 2014. Hugh was the beloved husband of Lois Earleen (nee Norman) for 53 years, he was 78 years old. Loving father of Gilbert and his wife Emily, Gordon and his wife Jocelyne, April Gough and her husband Stephen all of North Bay and Lana Taylor and her husband Brian of New Liskeard. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Abby Hannah (Billy), Tim Taylor (Megan), Alex Taylor, Joe Taylor, Adam Bainbridge, Henry Bainbridge, Heather Bainbridge and by his great grandchildren Meleena, Jaydin and Isabelle Hannah. He was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Matilda Bainbridge, by his parents-in-law Basil and Gertie Norman and by his siblings Lorne, Ken and Murray Bainbridge and Beulah Cavanaugh. Dearly loved brother of Jack Bainbridge (Marion), Edgar Bainbridge (Millie), Millie Baldwin (Roy), Jane Fawcett (Bill) and Ellen Alderson (Vern deceased). Hugh was very proud of the 37 years he spend driving truck for the City of North Bay, he retired in 1988. A Graveside Service for Hugh will be held at the Terrace Lawn Cemetery, on Wednesday June 4th at 11:00 am.
