Obituary of Gary Gaye Stewart

Stewart, Gary G. It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the sudden passing of Gary Stewart on Thursday September 5th, 2013 at the age of 64. He will now be reunited with his parents, the late Dorothy (nee Mison) and James Stewart and his brothers Kenneth, Richard and Glen Stewart. Gary is survived by his sons Shone, Jason, Chad and Joshua Stewart (CJ Ireland) and his grandchildren Shona, Elliot and Griffin. Gary will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers Kim Stewart (Erla), Roger Stewart (Linda), and his sister Penny-Lynn Stewart MacDonald (Kevin) and his many nieces and nephews. Gary retired from the CP Rail in 2003. He enjoyed golfing with his brothers. Gary spent time camping at the family cottage and teaching his kids how to fish in the early years. Gary also enjoyed watching his boys play baseball when they were younger as he was their biggest fan. He was a master at anything mathematical and loved to do crosswords. Gary had many challenges in the later part of his life and can now rest, and be at peace. Please join the family in a celebration of Gary's life at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, September 10th, 2013 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Gary's memory made to the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
