Obituary of Gordon Lloyd Evans

EVANS: Gordon Lloyd “Gord” Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at the North Bay Regional Health Center, on Sunday, July 28th, 2013. Gord was the beloved husband of Leigh (nee Lindsay), he was 34 years old. Dearly loved son of Bill and Sandra Evans and son-in-law of Bev Cameron (Roy), Bill Lindsay (Ronda), and Denis Ranger. Loving brother of Tanya Bourdon (Jason). He will be sadly missed by Leigh’s siblings Andrew & Amanda Lindsay, Jeremy & Erin Ranger and Jason Campbell. Gord’s cherished companion Nova will truly miss him. Gord and Leigh were married in North Bay on August 30th, 2008. He enjoyed getting out golfing, playing volleyball and the time he spent hunting and fishing was always precious. Gord’s family will receive friends at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday July 31st and Thursday August 1st from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 2nd at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
